Animal Insights: Connecting with Animals September 30 – October 9, 2025

A deeply personal and transformative journey, Animal Insights Safari invites you to explore the art of animal communication in some of Kenya’s most breathtaking landscapes. Over 9 nights, you’ll go beyond observation, learning to connect with wildlife on a soulful, intuitive level. Through optional animal communication classes, mindfulness practices, and energy work, you’ll develop a profound awareness of the messages animals share. This immersive experience, guided by Karen Cleveland, fosters a deeper connection with nature, leaving you with insights that will resonate far beyond the safari itself.

Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi

Welcome to Kenya! Your adventure begins with an overnight stay in Nairobi, setting the stage for an enriching journey ahead. Upon arrival, you can choose to enhance your experience with visits to the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust to see baby elephants, the Giraffe Center to feed and interact with giraffes, or the Karen Blixen Museum to delve into the history and culture of the area.

Days 2-4: Masai Mara National Reserve (Sopa Lodge)

Our journey takes us to the Masai Mara for three nights at Mara Sopa Lodge. Engage in immersive game drives and expertly guided experiences designed to deepen your connection with the wildlife. Learn the subtle art of animal communication as you observe and interact with the majestic inhabitants of the Mara.

Days 5-7: Lake Naivasha (Sopa Lodge)

Next, we travel to the serene Lake Naivasha for two nights at Naivasha Sopa Lodge. Explore Crescent Island on guided walks, encountering giraffes, zebras, and various bird species in this peaceful haven. Take a boat ride to see hippos up close and observe a variety of birds, making your way to the island. These days are perfect for relaxation and meaningful interactions with the animals in their natural habitats.

Days 8-10: Ol Pejeta Conservancy (Serena Sweetwaters)

Our journey continues to Ol Pejeta Conservancy for three nights at Serena Sweetwaters. Engage in game drives and visit the renowned chimpanzee sanctuary. Learn about conservation efforts and spot the Big Five in this exceptional wildlife haven. Additionally, visit the last two northern white rhinos, a poignant and rare encounter highlighting crucial conservation work.

Day 11: Return to Nairobi and Departure

We return to Nairobi for your departure, reflecting on the transformative experiences and deep connections made throughout our journey.
