Migration Magic: Witnessing the Wildebeests August 27- September 5, 2025
A journey filled with awe and wonder as you deeply connect with nature during the breathtaking spectacle of the Great Wildebeest Migration in the Maasai Mara. Over 9 unforgettable nights, we will not only witness this incredible natural phenomenon but also explore the habitats of Africa’s Big Five across some of Kenya’s most renowned parks.

Day 1:
Arrival in Nairobi Welcome to Kenya! Your adventure begins with an overnight stay in Nairobi, setting the stage for an exciting journey ahead. Upon arrival, you can choose to enhance your experience with visits to the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust to see baby elephants, the Giraffe Center to feed and interact with giraffes, or the Karen Blixen Museum to delve into the history and culture of the area. These enriching activities are available for those who wish to explore more of Nairobi’s unique offerings.
Days 2-5:
Masai Mara National Reserve We travel to the Masai Mara for four nights, staying at either Serena Mara or Loyk Mara Camp. Witness the breathtaking Great Migration, where wildebeests and zebras brave the Mara River. Enjoy daily game drives, capturing the stunning landscapes and diverse wildlife that make the Mara world-famous.
And it’s not just wildebeests and zebras, we will see many of the majestic animals in Masai Mara, including lions, giraffes, buffalo, gazelles, possibly the elusive black rhino. cheetah, leopard, and many more. Plus birds, so many species of birds you will lose count!
Over the next few days will be a combination of game drives and river watching, relaxing, and meaningful convesation.
Days 6-7: Lake Naivasha (Sopa Lodge)
Next, we move to the tranquil Lake Naivasha for two nights at Naivasha Sopa Lodge. Explore Crescent Island on guided walks, encountering giraffes, zebras, and various bird species in this peaceful haven. Take a boat ride to see hippos up close and observe a variety of birds, making your way to the island.
Days 8-9: Ol Pejeta Conservancy (Serena Sweetwaters)
Our journey continues to Ol Pejeta Conservancy for two nights at Serena Sweetwaters. Engage in game drives and visit the renowned chimpanzee sanctuary. Learn about conservation efforts and spot the Big Five in this exceptional wildlife haven. Additionally, visit the last two northern white rhinos, a poignant and rare encounter highlighting crucial conservation work.
Day 10:
Return to Nairobi and Departure We return to Nairobi for your departure, reflecting on the incredible experiences and memories made during our safari adventure.
